hey all. i'm having issue , help. i'm doing work ubuntu still windows games (can't play of them via wine...). got meself new computer , installed windows 7 on it. after tried setup ubuntu. , here problem starts. setup of pc : m/b : asus maximus iii formula cpu : intel core i5-750 ram : 8gb ddr3 hdd : 2 x corsair ssd 64gb extreme edition. note case has hotswap function on (zalman gs1000). first time tried install ubuntu (9.04) couldn't. after few tries, found out there problem when had sata cables on hotswap positions. disconnected of them installation went ok. 1 ssd win7, 1 ssd ubuntu. but... rebooted them computer , never saw grub menu. went directly windows 7 boot. messed grub setup? that's fine. reinstalling ubuntu , select /dev/sda put grub instead of (hd0). nothing. reinstalled again , again , again using every possible location grub , right hdd bood bios of course, nothing. tried use supergrub but... ideas on one? in...

hola muy buenas, compre una raspberry pi 2 con una funda que incluye un ventilador... la cuestión es que no se nada de los gpio. conectado el ventilador en el segundo y tercer pin de la banda derecha comenzando por arriba (el segundo con el cable rojo). no se si puedo estar haciendo algo mal que pueda dañar la placa. gracias y un saludo. asumiendo que sea un ventilador de 5v, estaria bien si conectas el cable rojo los pines 2 ó 4 y el negro al 6. puedes usar este esquema como guia (click para ampliar): slds! raspberrypi

hello, got new laptop last week. formatted drive, made few partitions, , installed windows 7 enterprise 64bit on first partition c:\. yesterday, installed ubuntu 9.04 32bit via wubi.exe f:\ partition not thinking iso file i'd downloaded months ago wasn't 64bit edition. so, wanting take advantage of ram, formatted f:\ drive, opened command prompt, , removed ubuntu entry boot options using "bcdedit /delete {id}". rebooted pc , logged windows. then, mounted newly downloaded, 64bit iso file , ran wubi.exe administrator. installation completed , asked me reboot. after restarting, however, not given option boot ubuntu. using "bcdedit" command prompt found there had been no change boot record. windows 7 still option. i've formated drive several times , tried installing via mounted iso file , cd. same result each time. have resolution this? thanks, matt check if works http:...

hi all, new user of neopixel led matrices. build cylinder wall of 15*4 led matrices, small 1.2" 8x8 led matrix w/i2c backpack. leds face inner side, 15 columns of 4 led matrices.in total, there 60 matrices , 3840 single colour leds. however, there several problems came me when thinking it. 1, backpack bit longer matrix itself. if need put them in array tightly attached between columns, backpack block neighbour columns' backpacks. possible solution solder backpacks bit off matrix tips of pins of matrix. can buy space still not enough. 2, since 1.2" matrix backpack has 3 bit i2c addresses, can control 8 matrix independently @ same time. if need control single leds of matrices, how can set addresses? should use layer of micro controllers master device control different groups of 8 matrices? going slower speed of refreshing matrix? ideal refresh rate each matrix @ least 100 hz. if chance have experience of doing similar projects, or have knowledge of how solve these...
