Thread: No boot option after wubi install
hello,
got new laptop last week. formatted drive, made few partitions, , installed windows 7 enterprise 64bit on first partition c:\. yesterday, installed ubuntu 9.04 32bit via wubi.exe f:\ partition not thinking iso file i'd downloaded months ago wasn't 64bit edition. so, wanting take advantage of ram, formatted f:\ drive, opened command prompt, , removed ubuntu entry boot options using "bcdedit /delete {id}". rebooted pc , logged windows. then, mounted newly downloaded, 64bit iso file , ran wubi.exe administrator. installation completed , asked me reboot. after restarting, however, not given option boot ubuntu. using "bcdedit" command prompt found there had been no change boot record. windows 7 still option. i've formated drive several times , tried installing via mounted iso file , cd. same result each time. have resolution this?
thanks,
matt
