Problem Opening File

i have file created in dreamweaver , have opened in past. hangs application , fails open. tried using backup copy viewing/saving text of uploaded file on server, same result. file opens fine in browser , in bbedit not think corrupt.

any ideas on how open successfully? hate make changes using hand-code method , bbedit fear forced so.

thanks in advance ideas.

create new page , copy , paste content , safe it. works when dreamweaver plays up.
if not, begin copying code in parts, save regularly, open again until come across piece of code causes problem again. know need have close @ particular part of code. can silly, forgetting close tag. editors fogiving in respect.
