Thread: Viewing Home Folder Problem

several months ago when first installed v9.04 had following problem , kind soul told me how fix it.

when click on "places" / "home folder" gedit opens , tells me folder. when click on home folder, want open , show of included files , folders...

have since installed new graphics card , installed v9.04 again , problem back. know solution fix this. remember simple, can not remember it.
