i trying use composite video output , have purchased cable 3.5 jack plug on end , 3 phonos on other. having trouble pushing jack plug socket on rpi board, very tight , worry damaging board, not happy has gone home. removal harder. same plug fits audio socket. have tried other plugs , fit audio socket not video socket. doing stupied or these video sockets problems. hard believe have 1 off have been unable find else same problem. note rpi model b , purchased 2 or 3 years ago. its 3.5mm plug, should fit 3.5mm jack fine. a/v jack see if blocking it. raspberrypi

salve tutti, avrei la necessità di controllare uno shield con tre relè autocostruito tramite arduino in 2 modi (poi vedrò quello più adatto). trattasi di un commutatore d'antenna. 1) la mia esigenza sarebbe quella di selezionare una delle antenne tramite piccolo telecomando che ho già e che vedendo il led di arduino reagire, mi fa pensare che funzioni. quello che non sono riuscito fare, è attivare una o più porte di arduino in modo (giusto per prova) da accendere un led. ho trovato delle guide ma non riesco farlo funzionare.... 2) per lo stesso motivo(commutatore antenna) avevo pensato di usare due arduino nano dotati di circuiti tx e rx e far fare quello "remoto" ciò che voglio comandando tramite putty l'altro... preferirei la prima soluzione però vorrei anche capire come collegare questi moduli tx. ringrazio chiunque mi possa aiutare e accetto altre soluzioni ben volentieri... soprattutto con controllo distanza, ma senza rete, voglio eliminare qualunque u...

i have older pi 1 model b still running strong. when learned new pi 2 it's quad core processor , 1 gb of memory, jumped on , ordered one. got case , 16 gb microsd. last night, followed instructions latest noobs software installed card. pi 2 booted , chose install raspbian launcher. got of way through installation , gave error saying not mount root partition. thought fluke reformatted microsd card, copied noobs stuff on , tried again. same result. so, downloaded raspbian image, reformatted card, , used dd command (from mac) put image on card. pi 2 booted raspbian image , let me install it. however, noticed system became unstable after first reboot. threw errors on screen i/o errors , problems reading card. never booted. again reformatted card, put raspbian image on , reinstalled again. time, made through 2 reboots before no longer read card. repeated reformat, reimage, reinstall process 4 more times , got same result. brand new transcend microsd card!! what's ...

i went run glasnost test see if isp blocking bittorrent traffic. page told me needed install java runtime environment plugin test work. i've got sun java 6 stuff installed on computer, thought maybe need newer. clicked on button install required plugin. automatic installment didn't work, clicked manually install plugin. taken sun's website, downloaded file called jre-6u16-linux-i586.bin desktop. made executable, ran it, , created filder called jre1.6.0_16 full of stuff. unfortunately, there don't seem instructions need install plugin browser (firefox 3.5). supposed do? do have java plugin installed synaptic sun java has not been updated in ubuntu yet shouldn't matter. hi people, i'm new linux , raspberry , i'm having dificult issue diagnose. i've set raspberry 2 work on lan , everithing working fine time. i've opened ports 22 , 80 external access on router , can reach pi on internet. problem appears after while , due linux kernel messing routing table. if leave pi resting couple of hours can no longer access internet. still have lan access though. i've checked routing table , different 1 boots. after time appears line in ip 169.254.xxx.xxx didn't set , following line disappears code: select all destination gateway genmask flags metric ref use iface 0.0.0.0 192.168.1.1 0.0.0.0 ug 0 0 0 eth0 thoughts? it's going bad cable or broken socket on router. raspberrypi

we have serious performance problem centers aroud flash rendering of controls. using flash 4, amfphp, php , mysql. we waiting until rendering completed , execute data. maor problem unable trace out whether comlete rendered or not. on screen use large number of controls (relatively). our hope not have undergo reqriting ui's using pgp, ajax or other application. our address info @ hatrak.com. thank in advance can receive. i've got raspberry pi 2 raspbian installed on it. x server starts automatically , runs correctly. i've got ibm 595 computer aix installed on , i'd use raspberry pi 2 remote x display. these computers on same network , can ping each other. on ibm computer, type: setenv display b3wtx0:0 , xclock. however, i'm getting "error: can't open display: b3wtx0:0" (i typed xhost + on raspberry pi 2 before did this). because need use ssh talk raspberry pi 2? thanks. update: fixed problem removing "-nolisten tcp" /etc/x11/xinit/xserverrc file. raspberrypi

my project involves 2 tcrt5000. when first 1 triggered (aka value of analog reading on 1000), start fan. fan run until second tcrt5000 triggered , released, meaning gain value on 1000 below 1000 make fan stop. i have 2 setups , want them both run independently off of same arduino. how go doing this!? don't know start. do have schematic wire them arduino?  start there. hello, have graphite line portrait of batman , 2 questions: 1. using arduino , maxuino, made batman voltage divider , can scrub quote along it.
