Frontpage display in a new template - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

good morning,
i working on creating new template website , want change how content items display on frontpage. content items display in row total of 10 items displayed. like website (just center collum) http://octoraro22.org.

since mention center column of example website going assume mean 10 items in column , not 10 items in row (horizontally).

that controlled in front page settings on admin site, in hard find place.  go menu > "mainmenu", click on home.  in parameters on right:

1) change "columns" 1
2) change "#intro" how many ever intro items display.

did want?
