Tables vs. divs

i know tables becoming obsolete, on site ok?
page tables
the table, td, tr etc. formatted external style sheet, , there's no deprecated code (that know of).
i ask because i'm redoing gigantic site company , of pages laid out similar one, product pictures in column on left , descriptions right. tables seem easiest way go. thanks!

the table on page used tabular data. fine use table purpose.
