How to stream sound from Windows to Raspberry Pi? - Raspberry Pi Forums

my onboard soundcard stopped working, , 2 discrete soundcards have incompatible.
however, have rpi 2 laying around, can use soundcard
want stream sound windows (not music streaming)
rpi connected directly 2nd ethernet card
ideal case if software on windows create virtual audio device act real soundcard.
less latency better

ideas? im searching such software hours , nothing. (damn pulseaudio not working on windows)

hi have same problem. notebook working headphones.
i'm using shairport , working well. latency around 1.5 - 2s on wifi (ethernet better), if using vlc player can set audio synchronization match , video plays without problem.
