solved making template default.  not rocket science.  thanks...  :)  original issue solved linking directly component.  trying link content item rather component itself.

---ok figured out how display using default template rather custom template display sobi.  ideas why?  thanks!

how directory display in main portion of page?  right displaying in left column.  have tried creating static pages , linking.  maybe i'm tired , cannot think straight, cannot display listing correctly.  pointers great.  thanks!  also, how link once i've got in main portion main menu great well.
