Documentation on SEF plugin features? - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi,

i'm in need sef-component site running on joomla 1.5, therefore i'm trying write plug-in solves need. i've seen lot of  documentation mentioning 1.5 includes better means perform sef/seo-optimization creating plugins, have failed find more specific documentation on how this. system calls hook , on. there documentation?

could point me in right direction or share me notes on basic idea? if provide me information i'll able write example entry on wiki.

i don't recall there being documentation on subject @ present.

more importantly, strongly advise against using joomla! 1.5 on site can reached public internet until reaches stable state.
