Thread: Web Server & SSH (Airport Extreme) Problem

hi,

i'm trying setup web server , ssh on ubuntu server. current network setup is:

internet --> linksys becmu10 (cable modem) --> airport extreme --> ubuntu server

however, unable access webpage , ssh wan.

i've tried far:
  • port forward 80 , 22 on airport extreme via airport utility

  • reserved dhcp ip ubuntu server (10.0.1.201) via airport utility

  • enabled nat port mapping protocol

  • nmap on ubuntu server (10.0.1.201) shows port 22, 80 , 3306 open

  • nmap on linksys becmu10 (192.168.100.1) shows port 21 , 80 open

  • nmap on airport extreme (10.0.1.1) not show port 22 , 80 open though i've setup port forward 22 , 80


since i've done did not allow me access webserver wan, changed network setup to:
internet --> linksys becmu10 --> ubuntu server

after new setup, nmap on becmu10 shows port 80 open , ubuntu shows port 22, 80 , 3306 open. however, still cannot access , ssh ubuntu server wan.
