No video output when GPIO plugged - Raspberry Pi Forums

hi people,

i'm working on first project rasperry pi. idea change color of 12v rgb led strip via web interface. last part easiest me have been coding while... looks might have troubles wiring.

did wiring , helped in process schemes (this one , this one) gpio-to-breadboard adapter. use this led strip, these mosfets , this solderless adapter.

issue is, whenever have gpio-to-breadboard adapter plugged in raspberry pi, no video output. did @ first, obvious wrong appeared on screen had green overlay , kept flashing. when unplug adapter , reboot raspberry pi, works. when let adapter plugged in disconnect 12v power supply led strip, still doesn't post.

fundementally wrong wiring?

hi guys,

bypassed video issue interacting raspberry pi using sftp , ssh. still, when set output pins 17, 27 , 22 true, don't @ all. led strip not light up... again, i'd grateful if have glance @ wiring , tell me if see wrong it...
