Raspberry B 2 - power supply management - RED LED OFF - Raspberry Pi Forums
has power management changed b+ b 2 ?
i've 2 pib2 boards , both act this:
1) power usb computer > red led off > can work, seems fine
while running voltage on pin 2 , 6 : 4.60 v
when halt system red led turn on , voltage is: 4.85 v
2) power know source (tried both usb or gpio) > red led on > system can't boot, or blocked right after boot.
3) tried without success professional psu 5.0 v, power consumption varies 0.200 ma 0.476 ma, can't complete boot.
network on, can ping can't login screen.
logo 4 pi displayed , nothing more.
i've read http://elinux.org/r-pi_troubleshooting# ... on_display , seems exacly inverso of how work. one?
tried 2 boards, changed sd, nothing change.
if take same power supply , sd b+ working. why?

if red light goes out should see under-voltage square on monitor screen.
resolution better psu and/or better usb-a microusb cable.
