Okay to mount Arduino to Styrene?
hey everyone. know real noob question i'm real noob, here is:
i'm building second robot, using erector-set style pieces make frame. need mount arduino , other controller boards somewhere, , happened have thin sheets of styrene thought use fashion mounting plates. arduino mounted brass standoffs, screwed styrene.
now question is, static electricity problem using material? somehow result in damage board? arduino grounded when battery connected, of course, when it's not connected...
i've never used plastic construction material electronics thought maybe guys able inform me more on subject. want avoid damage controllers.

i've used 1.5mm styrene sheet mount arduinos inside metal case without problems. long you've nothing rubbing styrene, wheel or motor part, think you'd have no problem. how else static build-up?
