i can't isntall component tried. error msg:

upload component - upload failed
error: not find xml setup file in package.

can me why? downloaded com's joomla.org site.

what permissions on directories? in component installer screen, should see someting like:

media/   writeable
administrator/components/   writeable
components/   writeable
images/stories/   writeable
