How do you iinstall new template through code? - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i downloaded templated , added through admin site.  returned following parse error when started on localhost:

parse error: parse error, unexpected $end in c:\wamp\www\templates\media02\index.php on line 47

i dont know php dont know how fix this. 

now want put site uses old template.  however, site has template problem cant log in admin , put was.

can suggest how put right please? perhaps altering config file???

that's template error , not configuration. you'd find in index.php file of template.  have tried installing template on live site , not wamp?
