Thread: sound issues- lost sound in vlc, mplayer etc

last night sound on laptop decided stop working on vlc fine on flash. had problem while when upgraded jaunty managed sorted eventually. not sure did fixed then: ideas?

i'm not @ computer can choose sound device use within vlc's settings?
