Thread: Xubuntu and Wifi Radar on Startup

hi all-

i've been dabbling w/ xubuntu 8.04 (hardy) little while on old (2003) sharp mebius laptop (196mb ram, 20gb hdd, pentium iii cpu). i've been frustrated fact wireless card connect wireless networks going wifi radar , manually hitting connect button. can't remember thread read on able solve issue editing wifi-radar.conf file (found here - /etc/wifi-radar.conf) following:

ifup_required = true
auto_profile_order = wifi
speak_up = true
scan_timeout = 5
interface = eth1
commit_required = false

if look, yours should false have true. small change allowed wfi radar startup firefox every time.

edited interfaces configuration file in network folder , commented out # sign wireless card firefox wouldn't start in offline mode.

if knows of issues using these changes, i'd appreciate heads up. luck, , hope helps.
