Virtuemart storeadmin login problem - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

virtuemart 1.08 + joomla 1.0.12.

no matter try, can not admin link appear in vm module vm storeadmin can login vm without having use joomla's backend.

from have read on vm forums, possible giving user kind of joomla frontend access, giving user storeadmin permissions in vm , ticking 'allow frontend-administration non-backend users?' under vm's global configuration.

i not having luck getting help: post 1 , post 2
please help!
