Browse sequences

my browse sequences not behaving properly. generate html files using robohelp word x5.0.1. browse sequences work fine when open file (chm) stand-alone, i.e. default htm topic (for example index.htm) displayed , browse sequence viewer highlights corresponding topic. when file opened within our software program via standard windows menu help, browse sequence viewer highlights first topic of first browse sequence group (this first browse sequence group first 1 appearing in drop-down box browse sequences, permitted values sorted alphabetically), not default topic (index.htm) displayed upon loading. there need (or developers) in order synchronisation between topic , browse sequence when chm file opened software?
thanks in advance ideas, suggestions or fixes.
