Mac users - is Windows on an Intel Mac good enough for testing?

just bought desktop pc can have "real" windows pc , explorer browser test web sites on. i'm strictly mac guy normally. well, got new macbook pro laptop, , can run windows xp home on it, safe testing on versus real pc? technically same, had used virtualpc years , found not quite identical in regards browsers. close, not quite.

this parallels thing , copy of wxph same me needed desk space , hassle.

it genuine thing, 100% pure windows on mac. is, if
doesn't crash..being windows , all....
