i hope place discuss off-topic things. have laryngitis have been told take day off work (today) , rest voice , continue not talking (even whispering) aloud 3 days (so won't talking aloud until monday [at earliest]).

thought typing here me in way i'm not talking aloud people , atleast can communicate in way. because, believe or not, when don't talk people, when people around, kinda puts mind in state if still in empty room yourself.

anyways, on off topic discussion, in title.

police officer pulled me on , asked me if knew did wrong. told him didn't, , told me going through yellow light, turned red @ point, , police officers having yellow light campaign, pull people on , warn them [may have been state wide police yellow light campaign]. weren't ticketing, warning.

subconsciously realized yesterday made me drive less safely did before. when see green light, , know have plenty of room between me , car ahead, speed because light green. let's speed limit on road 55 mph , traveling 40 mph approaching green light. if see have room speed - thinking can legally gun way 55 mph without exceeding speed limit.

may seem @ first it's still safe because i'm not putting car in front of me @ risk know have plenty of room speed , slow down before vehicle. however, there can cars stopped in opposite direction, have green light, looking opening legally turn left onto road. speeding have been doing not work mind of person trying cross over. don't expect type of speeding occur when they're trying legally cross over.

i'm doing considered reckless driving , still illegal, going stop doing now.

somehow example, in mind, in authority thinks telling [warning you] not break rules [that didn't know broke initially] , subconsciously start attempting make sure through green light before yellow light [the yellow light being trigger trying avoid].

think people in authority need think out how going or should apply authority others. because has authority , can micromanage else not break rules, doesn't mean should think out how should use authority stop rule breaking including small rule breaking.

there old saying, "because had power, thought had wisdom."

1 analogy: teacher has authority make students follow lot of rules. however, teacher should [in opinion] treat students teacher wanted treated, , not a-hole , make students uncomfortable making them follow each rule , applying discipline them each time break each , every little rule. teacher analogy, no 1 @ risk of physical hurt reckless driving; however, teachers affect many many lives under control. teacher has lot of mental power works way mentality of lot of young minds , teacher never knows how exponentially actions can ripple through , beyond moment [i.e. teacher this, students think it, student grows , retells story adults, adults hear story become anti-teacher].

no 1 knows how , how far rippling affect of decisions ripple on future.

sorry you're sick. i've been little bit sick of week feel lot better now. forums can provide stimulating conversation.

driving thing, don't think described considered wreckless driving. if under speed limit should fine. lights supposed timed give enough time stop when going speed limit or slower. there should "prepare stop" signs/lights stop in case need more warning stop light can provide.

rather annoying police pulling people on things aren't against law. lights intentionally have delay after 1 light turns green , next light turns red prevent people driving through intersection when it's not turn. it's police concerned safety of people, there better ways go wasting person's important resource, time.

edit: wow. totally slaughtered that. meant couldn't considered wreckless driving.
