Display Size - Raspberry Pi Forums

i have bought raspberry pi few days ago , have connected hdmi tv.

display covers full screen however, when switch on icons incredibly large , other times call normal size.

on each occasion when display has been large, have been able shut down , next time ok.

doing wrong , there way of reducing icon (etc) size without having switch off completely.

do have tv on , connected rpi @ least few seconds before powering rpi?
