Thread: ineo i-na206 external hard drive

hello all,
won ineo i-na206 320 gig external hard drive @ computer show . plugs usb port, , lights come on disk came has executable files on it, windoze os. know i'm going need format it, no problem, how ubuntu recognize it? , dall appreciated.

if drive formatted, can use existing filesystem, ntfs. if want format , start scratch, suggest using gparted. gparted available on ubuntu livecd, or can download repositories clicking link or running:

if plan on sharing data windows, should use ntfs, if it's going used in linux, ext3 or ext4 better options.
