Pi set to right time zone but showing wrong time - Raspberry Pi Forums
hi all,
apologies if has been asked before - did search "time" rather common useful search term!
i've confirmed pi set right time zone (europe,london) - did @ at 12:18pm - , here's got in console:
current default time zone: 'europe/london'
local time now: thu aug 20 17:28:17 bst 2015.
universal time now: thu aug 20 16:28:17 utc 2015.
bst british standard time assume, should match reality, yes? why clock out 5 hours or so? actual issue, or quirk of way raspbian handles time?

the pi not have built-in rtc (real-time clock). initialises clock fetching current time network server (using ntp).
maybe network connection screwy, or went wrong. try rebooting. clear time , attempt re-set network.
