sorry question because not question raspberry... well, not , @ same time..
using rpi arduino , got integrated circuit between them (74lvc2g53) (i don't want give details, simple mux/demux)
question why ic has 2 gnd??
not know if has special function. not first time see ic more 1 gnd. can connect them same gnd? why didn't manufacturer himself?...

if chip package has more pins logic needs, manufacturer assign them innocuous, , ground innocuous can get. since sockets (and packages fit them) come relatively few standard sizes, manufacturer has pick 1 has @ least enough pins circuit, having pins isn't surprising.
