i using kubuntu-desktop (and ubuntu), , switch kde-base, how do that?

second question if have live cd, how install kde-base?

kubuntu-desktop package offers set of programs available in kde. install or uninstall see fit. kde-base base set of programs provides kde desktop. using kde desktop environment on ubuntu linux distribution.

not quite sure trying say. little more specific? if still need let me know.
