Thread: VLC crash - "playing some media"

hello! after using vlc, impossible shut down computer without
code:
 poweroff
command. on screen appears messages "vlc playing media" (the quantity of them depends on files opened throughout session). able shut down "normally" after restarting gnome-power-manager. seems problem in hybernation, cannot figure out script help... smplayer works fine, it's vlc's issue. appreciated!

i upgraded system, , problem has vanished. vlc version same; means there have been incompatibility vlc , jaunty (in case.)
