Thread: Reducing Ubuntu partition, expanding XP

i need increase size of windows partition, unfortunately @ expense of ubuntu. questions are:

1. if use gparted make ubuntu smaller, able use expand xp's size? there complications involved in that?

2. had spare partition once supposed shared between 2 os, neither seem able recognize/access it. how can change that?

gparted can what require without hitch.

plan "complications" , problems backing data in advance.

also, know if system didn't boot after resizing partitions?
