Serious Help!?

hi all,
i have .jpg image stored in xml file base64 encoded data. have managed pull data in xml file , decode using jason nussbaum's 'base64.as' file. however, have decoded it, i'm @ loss next! have tried convert binary string , save .jpg file using locally stored shared object little success. i'm still unsure of how convert data .jpg image in locally stored file can access , display image on screen. or how convert image it's present format .jpg image , display on screen without having save locally, if that's possible!?
any appreciated!
