Thread: GT704-WG Ethernet Problems

i got donated gt704-wg dsl modem/router ethernet , wireless, , wireless working, pppoeconf cannot apparently see modem when i've got hooked hardy system via ethernet.

both ethernet , wireless work in windoze xp, of course ain't switching online when using router. ideas of need @ , change? system log monitoring confirms system not seeing router on eth0, primary ethernet port. i'm using old westell modem post this.

please delete thread. got working going system->administration->network , setting wired connection dhcp. yes, still newbie huge degree when comes admining system , makes me feel horrible. i'm not on here enough remember how mark thread solved.
