Installing Flash 5 - only accessing program through CD

i using new computer , trying install flash 5 on new computer , can access program no problem via cd. but, want permantly install program rather access via cd since want purchase upgrade flash 8 , if program not installed on hard drive not recognize needing upgrade flash 8. clicking on .exe file via cd , open program start creating file. not install software...it opens it. how can install can go forward in purchasing upgrade 8?

you don't need install flash 5 install upgrade. have enter serial number of copy of flash 5 when doing upgrade.
