Thread: corrupted exe files in windows xp as second OS

i have dual boot winxp , ubuntu 9.04. installed xp first it's on first partition. created 2 other ntfs partitions. exe files on partitions being reported corrupted in xp. possible ubuntu messed files? when use ubuntu , want run xp, hibernate ubuntu , boot xp. can reason of corrupted files?

i don't think so. unless mounting ntfs partitioons, there no way ubuntu writing them. if mountng them, shouldn't corrupting files that. think more there's odd going on in windows install. i'm not 100% sure, 95% or more.
