Suggestion for HATS - Raspberry Pi Forums
hello,
when use hat plugs onto 40/26 pin gpios
cannot access gpio pins hat needed
sensors etc. , have solder connection wires
bottom of required gpio pins
- caused me blow gpio on raspberry b.
suggest hat extends i2c, msi, , un-used gpio
pins 1 can solder/plug connection them.
having screen hat have no connection use sensors etc.
agrees/disagrees or have alternative solution?

having (unused) gpio pins broken out somewhere on hat idea. @ least have access them.
there valid reasons hats not stackable specification (just saying in case discussion goes way).
alternative solution use extension header (extra long pins) on board in between pi , hat. this: https://www.adafruit.com/products/2314, without eeprom. maybe one: https://www.tindie.com/products/hemalch ... i-hat-v10/
edit: adafruit sells them without eeprom: https://www.adafruit.com/products/2310
