SD free space left? - Raspberry Pi Forums

hello all,

okay, guess bit ocd, since have fresh install nothing else on it, how tell how space free on sd card? used 16gb card, , tried figure out how partitioned, , developed question. can see c: , d: in putty, total 4gb of space when run dir command , add results.

correct? 32 bit os sort of makes sense... there easy way tell actual free space usable add applications sd, , balance of space recoverable adding additional partitions?

know... embedded apps don't need 16gb available. data logging, nice have separate partition huge, , don't have worry fill quickly.

thought planning start adventure.
