Thread: Evolution not sending mail

i had posted earlier , marked solved because started working, it's not working...again.

open evolution, click "send/receive" , messages come flooding in, emails won't send. (like previous time) goes through after delete , add smtp info again, 3 out of 5 times stalls , gives me variety of error messages such "no route path" or "failed: syntax error in arguments."

i'm getting pretty frustrated.

if want make kmail or other linux program default email account, need uninstall evolution? , if do, how because don't see in add/remove apps list.

else having problem or had , solved it? appreciated.

i've had problems , switched mozilla thunderbird. don't uninstall evolution though. open system > preferences > main menu > internet , uncheck it. can download thunderbird add/remove or synaptic.
