mencoder not in jessie? - Raspberry Pi Forums

i tried install mencoder make timelapse video set of images strange error:

code: select all

pi@raspberrypi ~ $ sudo apt-get install mencoder reading package lists... done building dependency tree reading state information... done package mencoder not available, referred package. may mean package missing, has been obsoleted, or available source  e: package 'mencoder' has no installation candidate
mencoder used in rpf timelapse learning resource should concern them.
ffmpeg , avconv both have same problem. have confirmed have full access repository installing other packages such iceweasel.
can tell me going on?

libav-tools , mpv updated packages in jessie:
