AJAX Header Rotator 2.3 Problem - not aligning..screenshot included :) - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i've been having weird issues ajaxhr...

i have nothing in header position published except ajax header rotator module. but, whenever rotator published, huge black area underneath header, plus isn't aligned within header position.

the screen shot included.

any ideas? tried use coding provided in topic http://forum.joomla.org/index.php/topic,100733.0.html...but caused [removed]... :p

it seems css compatability issues ie....but don't know how code.

also, is possible overlay image or module on top of ajax header rotator? - how?

ah ha! think know problem is. have image placed 'over' header image in template. how can reconcile issue without losing desired result of being able put image on module?

i have included screenshot in ff. seems image (the black square pointed out red arrows) want overlay being pushed down in firefox, , in ie, black space created image.

??....help?..
