touchscreen in openelec xbmc - Raspberry Pi Forums

friends..i have purchased 7" touchscreen. , not working newly installed openelc xbmc in raspberry pi model b+.
please me..

there touchscreen support in version 16.0 test builds openelec/kodi.
presuming running kodi version 15 - update relatively straight forward.

first go kodi forum here http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=231092

in first post of thread recent build , download onto pc. download compressed file extension ".tar". file - openelec-rpi2.arm-6.0-milhouse-20151003214213-#1003-g6c9a6c5.tar

make sure correct version either rpi or rpi2

connect rpi running openelec using windows explorer - type \\<ip address of pi> explorer address bar - windows file explorer not internet explorer

navigate update folder , copy ".tar" file downloaded earlier update folder (no need decompress it, copy ".tar" file is)

reboot rpi , detect update , install it.

should have touchscreen support.
