Hostname SSH error - Raspberry Pi Forums

hi guys,

quick question really.

have rpi set web server , connecting externally (outside lan) , internally via ssh.

problem is, when change hostname on pi, internal ssh connection via mac totally fine no problems. when try connect via iphone ip address, doesn't work. try connect through dynamic dns address (no-ip) , yields same problem.

change hostname standard (raspberrypi) it's totally fine. i'm presuming there file somewhere need change setting match up?

have ideas?

did have setup router ports 80 , 443 (http , https) handled rpi? routers work on lan-hostnames...
