i'm trying friend out sansa san disk media player got, , says mpeg-4 files work on it, ive been having trouble converting since of stuff have avi. there program or can use?

handbrake excellent video encoder. easy use, , offers variety of codec , container options. although seem looking different container, believe there settings copy video , audio, selecting mp4 container. sure sansa won't play *.avi? if won't, may codec issue instead. nonetheless, handbrake out.
