Thread: setup raid1 on existing install


hi there,

i've been using ubuntu home server software year now. brand new when started , love have learned computers , linux. thing create raid1 setup on existing disk. have 80gb partion holds of system files , media files. used lvm , 2 40gb drives had siting around make 80gb partion mirror boot partion backup.

possible? or, raid have installed when os installed? have googled around of tutorials find doing that, installing raid @ os install.

in advance of help.

i facing same problem , wonder if came solution...
