hey folks. i'm on ubuntu lot of enthusiasm it. got new aspire 1 netbook , installed 9.04 on it, next already-there xp.
i've got couple bugs , tweaks at, , i'm starting thread guide through same, or similar hardware , software issues.
number 1 on list when installed ubuntu in separate partition, xp failed boot up, instead going acer's erecovery management, asking me restore system factory default. i'm not versed in how fix sort of thing, i'm asking help.
number 2 getting comletely set up. know main fold of drivers , such multiverse, i'm wondering if knows of functional arrangement machine. sources list may appreciated too.
ideas please post, dual-boot issue. i've never done dual-boot, nor have ever tried. i'm guessing windows doesn't being second place, we'll see. i'm totally unversed in grub editing.
