Sensing analog signals. Filters - Raspberry Pi Forums
hello all,
garden watering system working, can focus on "details"
, "the right way" of doing i'm doing in "the easiest" way
check soil moisture level, i'm reading values pcf8591 adc connected 4 yl38-yl69 sensors (cheap chinese sensors..)
precise, i'm doing arithmetic mean of 10 readings of every channel, trashing max , min value of each sensor.
problem sensors quite far adc (let's 10 meters) , seems me readings sensor not stable.
2 questions:
- phisically, there easy can shield analog signal? (sensors connected simple cat5 ethernet cable)
- programmatically, there "better" mean use filter strange values?

did have kind of resistor capacitor filter?
maximum sampling rate?
have small schematic of design?
