sorry first cant found "poll" button in forum.

web server configuration:
- apache
- nginix + varnish (http accelerator)
- apache + varnish (http accelerator)
- apache + nginx (proxy reverse)
- apache + nginx (proxy reverse) + varnish (http accelerator)

wonder configuration choose , why?

none of above.

build web services out of node.js , javascript. makes easier serial port / gpio / other interface web page , maintain continuous, real-time, updates between 2 when running on embedded system pi. wants mess apache , php such simple things?

may put nginx in front of many such node services proxy requests right place.

on actual server systems, think google/amzon cloud instances might use nginx provide load balancing out of scope here think.
