Thread: When did malloc change behavior?

i used able load c/c++ program in gdb, run until crashed, examine variables, set conditional break point, rerun program, , stop before crash. used able on pointer variables, e.g. on pointer, no longer works. when run program second time malloc/new returns address!

when did change?

can turn off? prefer have predictable behavior when debug program.

did compile -g argument?
