root moved to HDD, now kshisen hangs - Raspberry Pi Forums

hi,
have pi 2 b x300 add-on board. has hdd 30 gb partition / on x300's sata port.

i've changed /boot/cmdline.txt , /etc/fstab point new location, , works well.
glitch far tile-matching game shisen-sho, package name kshisen. starts ok, displays board, allows me select tile. there hangs. ps indicates state "sll" indicating "s: interruptable sleep (waiting event complete)", "l: pages locked in memory", , "l: multi-threaded".

have tried re-installing kshisen no avail. program worked before move.
curious. clues?
