Project : Home Monitoring of Patient
hi all,
it's first time taking project , speaking, not have fundamental background arduino. nonetheless, had made research on net , frankly speaking there lots of arduino products out there , not know of them fit criteria of project.
i had did draft on time frame , planning project , objectives phase 1 listed below:
- pir motion sensors implemented in system wireless transmission of data.
- arduino act base station in order collect data pir motion sensors.
- gsm shield integrated onto arduino alerting care-givers via instant message.
- long motions detected, system not alert care-givers. however, if no motions detected on period of
time, arduino send alert mesage care-givers.
yup, these plans phase 1 of project. have plans integrate vital signs detectors such heart beat , temperature system.
i sincerely appreciate if there here advice me how suppose start doing so.

what going power sensor? going send data? how far? how often? reliability criteria? is, how critical every bit of data sent every time?

the patient falls asleep, text message sent, , rushes in , wakes him or her. great idea.
