Help with thermistor power filtering circuit
hi all,
i've been tinkering arduino while, , i'm starting off on more substantial project, includes number of 100k thermistors (and maybe 1 of 2 10k thermistors) temperature sensing. i'm using thermistor4 library (http://playground.arduino.cc/componentlib/thermistor4) has been massive help, , taught me lot.
in link above, power filtering circuit described. background software, , while i'm comfortable i'm looking @ in diagram, there few elements little ambiguous, , bit of assistance. i'll end using simpler version of circuit, want understand as possible reference design before beginning. reference, here diagram of circuit:

starting inductor, there specific type of inductor should using? simple r.f. choke going suitable (e.g. http://www.maplin.co.uk/p/rf-choke-100uh-wh35q)?
with resistor directly after inductor, value of "1-10" given. should assume ohms of kohms? how important specific resistance in circuit result?
lastly, electrolytic capacitors, huge range given appropriate capacitance values (10-47uf in 1 case, , 0.1-47uf in other). resistor, should assuming specific capacitance value less important mere presence of component, , pick value in middle?
thanks in advance help.

most of assumptions good. point of on left side of schematic make sure have clean 5v feeding right half of schematic. rp 1-10 ohms not kohms.
i no expert on inductors, given 1 meant filter think simple rf chock being called. out. electrolytic caps again being used filters exact value less critical presence. exact values affect frequencies filtered more others, unless know noise sources can't best.
the necessary components on schematic thermistor , fixed resistor used form voltage divider measure adc. else helping remove noise signal. opt hook minimum first , if result noisy add in rest.
