Thread: Keypad freezes at startup so I can't scroll to start Windows

i'm totally new ubuntu. bought magazine ubuntu 9.04 disk , decided try out. hard drive not partitioned. when installing, chose option of letting ubuntu partition automatically, not manually. on first re-boot, discovered arrow keys not work couldn't choose operating system open. ubuntu opened itself. let ubuntu install updates. next time re-booted, arrow keys work. ever since, keys frozen , can't choose go xp. please me solve simple directions possible, don't know thing ubuntu or linux , must, until learn, xp. thanks.

i recommend either re-install ubuntu or remove , install ubuntu using wubi. wubi allow test ubuntu without partitioning hdd , if want remove wubi install can remove under add/remove programs in windows! test ubuntu can boot livecd , test there without installing anything.

remove ubuntu need boot live cd , delete partitions ubuntu made itself...you cannot under windows windows doesnt recognize ubunut filesystem! (ext2,ext3.etc etc)
